Dont force yourself

Forcing yourself to eat healthily could lead to snacking later, according to Diabetes Forecast. Researchers who imposed wholesome bread sample on people found that they felt an increase in food craving compared to those who were given tasty bread, while no differences in hunger were reported when there weren't any obligation. The study suggests that when people are not given a choice, they feel they have "made sufficient progress toward their health goals" by eating healthily and then switching to a contradictory goal like pleasing their tummies.
