Next time you seen someone hacking up a lung, do a double take: Just looking at a sick person may boost your immune system, according to a new Canadian study. After the scientists asked 28 study participants to view photos of people coughing and sneezing, they found that the viewers' white blood cells produced 24 percent more cytokines- proteins that regulate immune responses. This may be an evolutionary defense response, the researchers say.
Im sure that whenever there's someone going to sneeze we will just walk away or even stay away from the person to avoid sick.. but according to the Canadian research it is not.. whereas you should stay near to that person to boost your immuner system.. hmm ~ is that true? have you tried?
