Male Eyebrow Grooming Tips

Both men and women benefit from being well groomed. While eyebrow grooming has generally been the focus of women, rather than men, that has been changing. The men's grooming market in the United States reached approximately $10 billion in 2008. Uni-brows are not attractive on men and should be dealt with. Even with no uni-brow, shaping the eyebrows will improve a man's looks without making him look feminine.

Tweezing

  • Tweezing is an efficient and effective method of hair removal. This involves using tweezers to pluck eyebrow hairs one by one. When using tweezers, make sure that they are clean and that you don't use them for anything else other than tweezing. If possible, tweeze the eyebrows after a warm shower. If that isn't possible, use a wet, warm washcloth and hold it over your eyebrows for at least 5 minutes. The heat and moisture helps open up the pores, making tweezing easier and less painful. When you begin, tweeze the eyebrows in the direction that the eyebrow hair grows. Also, start on the inside, underneath the brows, and pull each hair out one by one. Be conservative and don't remove too much hair to begin with.

  • Trim

One way to groom your eyebrows is to trim them. Keep in mind that you don't want to trim the hair too short, as it will then stick out and not lie flat. To determine the ideal length, choose one eyebrow hair and test it. Trim the hair down and see how short it can be while still laying flat. This will give you a guideline for trimming all of your eyebrows. Take your time and do this just one hair at a time.

    Mistakes

  • Even if you are experienced at eyebrow grooming, mistakes are inevitable. While men balk at the use of cosmetics, using an eye pencil or eyeshadow to fill in bald spots is the best way to disguise the mistake. Make certain that the makeup matches the color of your eyebrows. Blend the pencil or shadow into the natural brows.

Diamonds for men - Giorgio Armani

Perfect for the man who likes everything in its placeJust like the clean cut bottle designed by Armani himself, this is a clean cut scent blending the freshness of bergamot and the masculine charm of cedar wood with a yummy mix of cocoa and dark marine notes. Manly through and through.

The One - Dolce & Gabbana

Perfect for the man who thinks he's a god
Much like Matthew McConaughey's turn as model for this scent (think macho man in designer togs loving himself maybe more than is healthy), this fragrance has thoroughly masculine base notes of cedarwood, ambergris and tobacco topped with an oriental spiciness making it both fantastically classic yet vibrant.

    Run Out of Shaving Cream?

Ever get in the shower, wash your hair, then ready to shave your legs and realize you are out of shaving cream?

Benefits to shaving your legs include:

    Smooth, silky legs
    Little to no itching
Sexy legs when wearing a dress and some hot heels
    Happy boyfriend/husband

Shaving with soap can cause dry skin and the chances of cutting yourself are high.

I'm going to show you a trick I learned one day when I ran out of shaving cream.

    Things You'll Need:

    • Sharp Razor
    • Hair conditioner

    Instructions

    • Sharp Razor
    • Hair conditioner
    1. Grab a nice, sharp Razor.
You don't have to go out and buy those expensive razors. It just has to be sharp and not dull. Dull razor don't cut the hair well and can cause more cuts.Buying the cheap disposable razor works just fine.
    2. Lather your legs with your hair conditioner. About a quarter size.

    3. Whether you have the cheap kind (Suave) or the expensive kind (Pantene, Herbal Essence, etc) lather your legs with the hair conditioner.

    4. Do not wet your legs for 2-3 minutes.
Let the hair conditioner sit for about 2-3 minutes. The conditioner will soften your hair and also add moisturizer to your skin. This helps prevent cuts and shaving burns.

    5. Shave your legs, starting from the area that's a little above the ankle to the knee.

    6. When shaving at the ankles and knee area, instead of using vertical strokes, use horizontal strokes, shaving from left to right. Be careful as these areas are prone to cuts. Just be gentle and pay attention to what you are doing.

    7. Lather your legs with more conditioner until you finish shaving.
If your skin feels dry, just add more conditioner to the area, wait 2-3 minutes, and start shaving again

Didnt expect that hair conditioner can do this as well right? try it today !!!

    Good Grooming for Men

Some men don't pay any attention to their grooming, but more men than ever are making grooming a priority. Some do it to retain their youth or professional edge. Men spend more than $4 billion each year on grooming supplies in the United States. One cause of the popularity increase is baby boomers entering middle age.

    Body Care

  • Make sure you shower every day, and more often when necessary, such as after working out. You should use body wash instead of soap to keep your skin from drying out. Always use a good antiperspirant or deodorant. Avoid over-perfuming with aftershave, cologne or male body spray.

  • Skin Care

  • You always need a good skin care regime. Find out your skin type, and find the system that works for you. A well-groomed man sport a clear complexion. Be careful of your eyes. Use an under eye cream to remove dark circles, get rid of puffiness and help reduce wrinkles. Finally, always wear sunscreen since burns, peeling and other sun damage will age your skin and ruin your complexion.

  • Shaving

  • A shrinking number of men practice the art of good shaving. Do not use a disposable razor. It is worth the money and protection of your face to buy a good quality one. Next, invest in a good shave brush and shaving cream, gel or lotion. Always shave with the grain--that is, in the direction the hair grows. Put an alcohol-based balm on your skin afterward. Do not try to groom a beard yourself. Always go to a barber. Finally, make sure you check for any missed areas.

  • Hair Care

  • Style all your hair. That includes what is on your head, your eyebrows and your nose. Get a nice haircut that suits your face and hair type. Have your barber trim eyebrows and remove ear hair. Make sure you trim visible nasal hairs too. If you are unsure what is appropriate, schedule an appointment with a stylist to work out your new look. When your eyebrows join in the center, creating one long eyebrow, or unibrow, it is unacceptable. Have your stylist or barber tweeze or wax the hairs in the middle.

  • Hands and Feet

  • Do not forget about your hands and feet. Manicures are crucial to good hygiene. That means no biting, no rough or sharp edges and no dirt underneath. Set aside time to file, trim and keep your nails neat at home. If you have an unpleasant foot odor, try this: scrub your feet daily and dry them completely afterward. Then put anti-odor insoles in your shoes.

  • Oral Hygiene

  • Smiles are important to business and personal relations. If your teeth are stained, you should have them whitened. Consult your dentist for advice. Make sure to brush your teeth and tongue twice a day, and use mouthwash for longer cleaner breath.

  • With all this.. im sure you will get attracted by ladies out there ! =p

    Shaving

75% of us wakes up every morning and the first thing that’ll we’ll do is shave. The other 25% sleeps in bed and has unshaven beards and are jobless. I kid. Not really.

Having a clean shaven face is a powerful social tool that immediately invites respect, trust and opportunities.

Though how it all began probably was due more to a desire to avoid having your face as a hotel for bugs. Records drawn on cave walls showed prehistoric stick figures shaving with sea shells, flint and even shark teeth.

There is one product that was new and novel though, and that was the invention of the first electric dry shaver with oscillating blades in 1928 by a retired Army colonel named Jacob Schick. Today it has turned really high tech and these shavers have turned 3D with the latest Philips SensoTouch 3D shaver that works wet or dry. With 3 heads of oscillating blades that contours to your face smoothly, its not only movies that are made in 3D today.

So guys, dont forget to shave !!!!!!!!!

Here's the proper way of shaving ~
